Well, for those of you who actually read this little blog, I’d like to update you on our Heart Project fundraiser. Last February, we attempted to raise $2200 for Samaritan’s Purse Children’s Heart Project. This project arranges life-saving surgeries (like the one our daughter had) to children in medically disadvantaged countries. Well, it didn’t happen in February, but we kept going, and by the time 2018 ended, we met the goal! Samaritan’s Purse has matched us with a child to sponsor!
Gift is from Uganda and will be receiving her heart surgery this spring.
THANK YOU for those of you who have bought books (to support the cause) or who have given directly to Samaritan’s Purse in Gracie’s name. We hope to raise another $2200 in 2018 to sponsor another child’s heart surgery. “Little is much when God is in it,” has been my mantra while trying to do this fundraiser. I know He will use this project for HIS glory, and I’m thankful to be a part of it!

Pray for more hospitals to be willing to donate their time and resources so more children can be served!
