Haley Jane: Age 6
On a rainy President’s Day afternoon, after getting home from seeing George Washington’s tomb at Mount Vernon, the kids and I cuddled up on the couch with my new favorite Netflix show, Liberty Kids. After one episode on The Intolerable Acts, I put my computer on my lap so I could research more about this subject on Wikipedia.
When Haley saw my diversion, she quickly piped up, “Oh! I have a question for you to put in your computer.”
I looked down at her, wondering what other things she’s observed me doing unknowingly. “What’s that?” I asked.
She didn’t even hesitate. “When is the world going to end?”
I stopped and looked at her incredulously.
“What?!” She defended herself. “Computers know EVERYTHING. Just type it in!”
Me: “Well, honey..You’re going to get crazy answers when you type that in. The Bible says no one knows when Jesus is coming back and when all this will end.”
Her jaw dropped.
“No one? Not even…..Google?“
I love this…out of the mouths of babes. The way children think never ceases to amaze me! Stopping by from Terrific Thursday.
That’s super cute. My oldest is infatuated with the computer as well.
Lol! Yes google is all knowing now isn’t it.
Super cute… 🙂
