Darcy ADORES her little sister. Sometimes a little too much. If you have been around our family for more than 90 seconds, you’ve most likely witnessed Darcy diving into Gracie’s carseat, smothering her with kisses, and gritting her teeth and shaking because of how cute she is. It’s a scene straight out of Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck (“We know you love them, but don’t hurt the rabbits, Lennie…”). Gracie just blinks and tries to suck on Darcy’s chin.
I think that is normal – what you are going through with Darcie and how much she LOVE LOVE LOVE's Gracie. Because KyLeigh (Liz's middle daughter) – She used to love to pick up Emma when mommy wasn't looking and carry her around the house or into another room – until you would hear crying, etc… And the squeezing shaking thing has happened many a time to just us Sella kids while growing up. Liz was the worst with grabbing on to us!! LOL…Such a cute story about Darcy and the love she shares for Gracie!
